The Birth of Dixcare Foundation.
DIXCARE BEHAVIORAL FOUNDATION (DBF) is a non-Governmental organization, non-profit oriented. It was founded by Mrs. Eucharia Mbu in 2019 as Resolved and restore Foundation which metamorphosed into Dixcare foundation in 2024 and was registered in Nigeria with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with registration number RC7328770.
DBF has its motto as you can be green again. We are aimed at assuring drugs addicts and other addict, abusers that there can be well again.
Since then we have been able to carry out the following activities as part of our core mandate.
Our humanity services covers the youth (boys and Girls), personnel in work places, institutions, faith based organizations, market places, states and local Government as well as the country as a whole.
The foundation cardinal objective is on sensitization, education against drugs and other addictions, prevention from drug addiction, consumption rehabilitation and empowerment of victims.
Materials for Learning
Many educational materials in local languages are often out of date. We work with school leaders and publishers to ensure that students have access to current textbooks that are age appropriate and written in their primary language.
Continuing Sensitization And Education
To sensitize, educate, crusade and enlighten the public on dangers of addictions, firstly in Nigeria and globally and to mold young minds against addiction. The organization is targeting communities with sensitization programs which would capture many youths between the ages of 18 to 35 years. Tailor programs and outreach efforts to specific demographics at risk of drug abuse, such as youth, veterans, or marginalized communities.
Support Through Re-creativity
Sensitization happens not only within the context of a larger community but Our approach covers schools , faith institutions e.t.c help ensure youths both boys and girls have the necessary support to do their best learning and being aware the dangers of drug abuse.
